Die Fliege.
Not entirely sure why this little fella stayed as still as he did but he was quite cooperative.

Creeping rain.
A light rain was persisting throughout the day while visiting MIT for work visit. The upper deck of the building was partially exposed creating this feeling of encroaching moisture.
Sorry for all the repeat pics showing up, going away, showing up … Trying to sort something out between Glass.photo and Micro.blog.
Kisses.
Presented with little comment other than I wish I had gone for a slightly deeper depth of field.
Wine bottle blues.
Empty wine bottle, staring down the barrel.
Juggernaut.
While snapping some shots of wine glasses, this one sort of just happened. Side note, the Juggernaut Cabernet is one of our favorites … the bottle and the artwork live up to the name and it’s damn tasty.
Wine glass.
Really liked how the stem of the wine glass had a thick liquid look to it.
Spoon.
Took a detour to silverware for a hot minute. Leaned into the smooth feel of soft edges and lighting.
Fork.
Took a detour to silverware for a hot minute. Liked the warmth of the wooden cutting board against the cold metal of the fork.
When Twitter broke, I landed on Mastodon as a replacement. Onboarding was a little rough as was wrapping my head around the fediverse. Then Bluesky showed up, felt like a solid option but was missing one thing … people. That looks to be changing. Going to give it another go.
Slinky three.
Like I said, really had fun playing around with the Slinky / light combo.
Slinky two.
Was pretty pleased with how the first shot came out, went back and took a few more. Really had fun playing with the lighting.
Slinky one.
Had some fun playing with the macro lens and portable LED light.
Bootlegged and bountiful.
The Moonshine Bar & Grill … bootlegged and bountiful, as most good things are. Taken in 2023, Austin, Texas during SXSW.
Bent fence.
The slightest of imperfections made it that much more interesting. Taken in Central Park, NYC.
New York bar girl.
Another old scan of a photo taken several years ago, this time in NYC. Was having a drink in the East Village, while she and her friend were having lunch at the restaurant next door. They were kind enough to allow me to snap a few shots.
Montreal couple.
Old film scan of a photo taken several years back while visiting Montreal. Can’t remember the location but will never forget the feeling of seeing this couple.

Syrah.
Beautiful weather for a Sunday at the local winery. One of our favorite places with one of my favorite wines. One of the first outings with the Leica Q3.
Preview of things to come.
Don’t be sad that it’s over, be happy that it happened. Taken back in ‘22.
Wine time.
After a day of rain, the sun is out and temps look pretty good. Might just be winery time this afternoon. Taken back in ‘22 at the Manatawny Creek Winery.
Central Park dancer.
Walking through Central park several years back, stumbled upon a woman dancing by the Model Boat Pond, simply enjoying the act of dancing. She kept dancing, I kept shooting. After several minutes, we smiled in acknowledgment and parted ways.
